For this Lafayette Hill residence, the request was a complete transformation of the first-floor layout. Our expert team executed a major structural renovation, replacing load-bearing walls with a custom-engineered LVL beam. This critical step seamlessly opened the kitchen to both the foyer and living room, creating a fluid, modern floor plan designed for contemporary living. We completely eliminated the confining breakfast nook in favor of an oversized culinary island. Supported by custom-cut, invisible steel brackets, this granite centerpiece now serves as the home's natural gathering point. The final touch: floor-to-ceiling custom cabinetry, maximizing storage and elevating the living area with sophisticated, functional design.
